Privacy Policy
Last updated September 19, 2026
Dorado helps you find and save running races. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We never see your Apple or Google password.
Location. If you allow it, Dorado uses your device’s location to show where you are on the map and to centre the map on you. Dorado does not send your location to our servers.
Saved races and settings. The races you save and your settings (distance units, race preferences and notification choices) are stored on your device.
Calendar. When you add a race to your calendar, Dorado hands the event to your device’s calendar app for you to confirm. Dorado can only add events; it cannot read your calendar.
How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, show races on the map and near you, and remember your saved races and settings. We do not sell your personal information.
Services we rely on
Google Maps displays the map. Google may collect device and usage information when the map loads, as described in Google’s privacy policy.
Apple and Google provide sign-in, and Supabase hosts our race listings and account data.
Race details come from public listings and organizers. The Register button opens the organizer’s own website, which has its own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can turn location off at any time in your device’s Settings, and Dorado will still work without it. You can log out from the Profile tab. Removing the app deletes the saved races and settings stored on your device.
Children
Dorado is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
